What is LLDPE?

LLDPE is an acronym for Linear Low-Density Polyethylene.

It is essentially a blended version of LLDPE. The Linear component is added during the manufacturing process.

LLDPE  has increased impact and puncture resistance due to manufacturing a softer and more flexible material but with higher tensile strength. 

One of the other main characteristics of LLDPE is its ability to stretch.

For this reason Stretch wrap or pallet wrap is made from almost 100% LLDPE
