Richard, as the owner and director of QIS Packaging, was there at its inception in 1985. A strategic plan for future expansion was initiated when Richard took full control of the company in 1992. Expansion followed with the acquisition of two plastic manufacturing businesses - BJ Packaging in 1998 and Rand Plastics in 2000. The managed integration of these two businesses into our operations has meant that QIS is now a major force in the packaging industry in its chosen markets throughout Australia.

Richard has other major business interests in the telecommunication and technology industries, where he provides advice on marketing and technology issues at the board committee level. Richard is married with two sons, and enjoys gardening , computers and watching his boys play sport.

Lisa joined QIS Packaging with a comprehensive background in finance and administration. Lisa's involvement with QIS Packaging goes back to its roots in 1985. In her role as the Finance Director she has been instrumental in introducing technology, together with streamlining processes and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction. Lisa's success is based on her excellent communication skills and her fundamental understanding of how her role impacts and supports the sales process. Lisa enjoys reading, walking and long chats on the phone with her friends and is married with two boys.

Expansion into the Melbourne market has seen Kate recently join QIS Packaging. Kate has come to us with a background in Senior Management roles within large corporate environments. Providing exceptional Customer Service within a sales environment is the cornerstone of her skills. Kate will also be heavily involved in marketing planning and implementing a world-class Customer Care program. Kate has a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Marketing, from Swinburne University of Technology. She lives in Williamstown with her husband, daughter and two Jack Russells.

Ensuring your job runs smoothly and efficiently through our production processes is Julie's prime responsibility. This, coupled with overseeing all artwork produced by our art department has enabled her to develop quality processes and procedures for tracking production for both plastic and paper bags. Julie is married with three daughters and enjoys getting away to the coast with her family.

Amanda is generally the first point of contact when you contact our office. Amanda has become an integral part of the QIS team during the past three years and her knowledge is second to none. She is bubbly and outgoing and will handle your enquiry efficiently and with good humor. Amanda is currently studying a business and e-commerce degree at the University of Queensland part time. In her "spare" time Amanda enjoys cooking and building her wine collection.

Boyd's involvement with the company dates back to 1989, where he has seen the company grow from a small organisation into the business it is today. Boyd's responsibilities involve all aspects of logistics management including warehousing and distribution. Boyd's attention to detail ensures that if your delivery has to go around the corner, or around the globe, it does so quickly and efficiently. Boyd has two daughters and enjoys spending quality time with them and as a budding author , enjoys writing.

From time to time you may talk to Jacqi, who has been with QIS intermittently since 1998. Jacqi works mainly in a customer service capacity and can help you with a wide range of enquiries. Jacqi is studying a Bachelor of Education at the University of Queensland and enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her husband and tabby cat.
