The "µm" (micrometre, or micron) measures the film's thickness — a higher number means a thicker, stronger sheet:

• 50µm — lightweight and economical; the right choice for a single paint job, a one-off cover, or where you'll bin the sheet after use.
• 100µm — the general-purpose middle ground; tough enough for trade and construction work, light enough to handle easily. Available in clear or white.
