What Is Centrefold Plastic Roll?

Centrefold plastic roll is a wide sheet of plastic film stored on the roll folded down the middle — so a compact 1m roll opens out to a full 2m wide × 100m long sheet when you unroll it. The fold means you can carry, store, and dispense a big sheet without needing a roll that's two metres wide on your bench. It's the go-to product for covering large surfaces in one piece: painting drop sheets, dust barriers on construction sites, car and furniture covers, room linings for spray painting, salon body wrapping, and event backdrops.

QIS stocks centrefold plastic in three gauges — 50µm, 100µm, and 150µm — in clear or white, all on 100m rolls.

Why Choose QIS Centrefold Plastic Roll?

The 2m unfolded width means you can drop one sheet over a whole car, a dining table, a queen-size bed, or a wall of cabinets without overlapping joins where dust, paint, or water can sneak through. Heavier gauges (100µm and 150µm) give you a tougher, more puncture-resistant sheet for construction, automotive, and trade use; the lighter 50µm gauge is the economical choice for one-off painting and short-term covers where weight matters more than long-term toughness.

White centrefold has the same coverage benefit as clear but with an opaque finish — ideal as a backdrop for events and photo shoots, a clean table topper, or anywhere you want to hide what's underneath the sheet. Backed by QIS's 5% price-beat guarantee.

How to order: Choose your gauge and colour from the table below and order online by the roll, or fill out our enquiry form for bulk pricing. Alternatively call us on 1800 555 343.

Choosing the Right Gauge

The "µm" (micrometre, or micron) measures the film's thickness — a higher number means a thicker, stronger sheet:

  • 50µm — lightweight and economical; the right choice for a single paint job, a one-off cover, or where you'll bin the sheet after use.
  • 100µm — the general-purpose middle ground; tough enough for trade and construction work, light enough to handle easily. Available in clear or white.
  • 150µm — heaviest gauge in the range; the most puncture-resistant for automotive workshops, longer-term covers, and rough handling.
