Ziplock bags are clear plastic bags with a press seal strip across the top. Press the strip together to close the bag, pull it apart to open it again, and reuse it as many times as you like. They are also known as resealable bags, zip seal bags, clickseal bags, presseal bags and self-seal bags.
Our standard zip lock bags are 50 micron (µm) thick and made from food grade plastic, so they suit food, confectionery, jewellery and retail merchandise. A higher micron value means a thicker, stronger bag, which is why we also stock heavy duty 75 micron and 100 micron bags for heavier items.
Bag sizes are usable space only, so they do not include the lip above the seal. Due to the manufacturing process, allow a small size and thickness variance of up to 5%. Need a custom size or panel? We can have bags made to order for large quantities.
