Packing tape is sold everywhere, however what is bad, good, reasonable and great? Packaging tape will only be effective if the correct adhesive is married up with the right surface.
Listed below is a guide to help you determine which is the best tape to use.
- Acrylic tape will stick to plastics really well and we stock: 100A48X75, PP100TR48X75 & PP101TR48X75
- Hot melt adhesive is perfect for neutral temperature environments - not too hot or too cold - PP105TR48X75 & PP105BR48X75
- Natural rubber adhesive tape is effective on cardboard - PP30TR48X75.
When it comes to packaging tape, cheap is not always best. You will end up using far more of the tape than you really need to If you are unsure how to load tape onto a tape gun, watch the short video on your right.
