Centrefold plastic is a clever, cost-effective sheeting for covering large areas. Here is how it works.
What is centrefold plastic?
Centrefold plastic is a folded plastic film made from LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene). It comes on a roll that is one metre wide but slit down one edge, so it can be unfolded to a full two metres wide — giving you wide coverage from a compact roll.
Colours and thickness
Centrefold is available in three colours — black, white and natural — and three thicknesses: 50µm, 100µm and 150µm. Thicker film suits tougher jobs. Not sure what micron you need? Read What is a µm?
What it is used for
It is a cost-effective choice for building sites, renovations, painting, gardening and general covering — minimising waste and saving you money.
