What is EPI?
EPI (Environmental Products Inc) is the developer of a totally-degradable plastic additive. Known generally as EPI, it is an oxo-biodegradable technology — an additive that helps plastic break down much faster than it otherwise would.
Why it is used
Adding EPI to a plastic product speeds up decomposition, making it a more environmentally responsible choice where a fully natural material is not practical.
