What Is Stretchwrap?

Stretchwrap is the clear or black plastic film that wraps around a pallet to lock the load in place for transport and storage. The film stretches as you wrap, then clings tightly to itself, holding boxes, cartons, and irregular loads together so nothing shifts in transit. Bundle Film (100mm)

Narrow stretch film for grouping smaller items together before palletising — also handy for securing loose handles, taping up rolled goods, and one-handed quick wrap jobs.

Pallet Top Sheets (1680 × 1680mm)

Square plastic sheets that drop over the top of a wrapped pallet, keeping dust, dirt, and water off the load during transport and storage. Sold on a roll of 250 sheets.

Choosing the Right Gauge

The "gauge" (µm — micrometres, or microns) measures how thick the film is. A higher number means a thicker, stronger film:

• 20µm — lightest gauge in the range, ideal for light pallet loads, indoor warehouse use, and short-distance transport
• 23µm — mid-range, good balance of stretch and strength for general pallet use
• 25µm — heaviest gauge stocked, QIS's most popular choice for typical pallets and longer freight runs — also available in black for load privacy

For heavier or sharper-edged loads, use more turns of film rather than searching for a thicker gauge — the stretch and cling characteristics matter as much as the thickness.
