What Are Single-Face Corrugated Cardboard Rolls?

Single-face corrugated cardboard rolls are flexible cardboard sheets supplied on long rolls — used for wrapping awkward-shaped items, protecting furniture during removals, layering between stacked goods, and lining boxes for fragile protection. Unlike the rigid double-walled corrugated cardboard that forms cartons (with corrugations sandwiched between two flat liners), single-face has corrugations on one side only with a single flat liner on the other — making it flexible enough to wrap around almost any shape.

QIS stocks single-face corrugated cardboard rolls in 4 heights, all on long 75m rolls. The grade is 10C = 4mm thickness, giving moderate cushioning without bulking up the package. Brown natural kraft colour, 100% recyclable. Stock items, same-day dispatch on orders before 12pm.

Why Choose QIS Corrugated Cardboard Rolls?

The big advantage of buying corrugated cardboard on a roll rather than as pre-cut sheets is flexibility — you cut off only what you need, when you need it, in any length. Wrapping a 600mm-wide ornament? Cut 700mm off the roll. Lining the bottom of a long box? Cut a 2m strip. Protecting a 1.5m mirror? Roll out enough to wrap the whole face. There's no waste, no over-ordering, and no managing multiple sheet sizes — one roll handles every size you'll ever need.

The four heights (sold as 3ft, 4ft, 5ft, and 6ft following industry tradition) match common item heights: choose the roll that's slightly taller than your typical item so a single wrap covers the full height in one pass without joining strips. For a packing operation that wraps mixed-height items daily, the 1525mm (5ft) is the all-purpose choice. Backed by QIS's 5% price-beat guarantee.

Environmentally friendly bonus — single-face corrugated cardboard is 100% paper-based, recyclable, and compostable. For brands committed to plastic-free packaging, it replaces bubble wrap and plastic foam in many applications.

How to order: Choose your height from the table below and order online by the roll. For bulk pricing or to discuss multi-roll mixed orders, fill out our enquiry form or call us on 1800 555 343.

Single-Face vs Double-Wall Corrugated — What's the Difference?

Two very different products despite sharing the "corrugated cardboard" name:

  • Single-face corrugated (this collection) — corrugations on one side, single flat liner on the other. Flexible, rollable, comes on long rolls. Used for wrapping and surface protection. Cannot make boxes — too floppy.
  • Double-wall corrugated — corrugations sandwiched between two flat liners (a layer of corrugation between two flat sheets). Rigid, structural, comes as flat sheets or pre-made boxes. Used to build cartons and rigid packaging. Cannot wrap around shapes — too stiff.

If you need to wrap items, you want single-face (this collection). If you need a box, see our stock cartons range.

How Much Does One Roll Cover?

Rough coverage for the 75m rolls:

  • 915mm × 75m = 68.6m² total — covers approximately 25-35 medium wrapped items, or 8-12 large items
  • 1220mm × 75m = 91.5m² total — covers approximately 20-30 mid-size items or 8-15 furniture pieces
  • 1525mm × 75m = 114.4m² total — covers approximately 15-25 large items or 5-10 furniture pieces
  • 1830mm × 75m = 137.3m² total — covers approximately 10-15 furniture pieces or full removal load

Actual coverage depends heavily on item size and wrap technique. For removals, allow 1.5-2× more than estimated since corners and edges need overlap.
