Unbleached natural cotton woven to 120gsm, giving a sturdy bag with a soft cream finish. Each bag is handmade, so the measurements can differ very slightly from the listed size. Our page on what GSM means explains fabric weight.

Yes. They are machine washable, so they suit library, shoe and shopping bags that get used again and again.
How is freight to Sydney priced?
Freight is calculated from your postcode and the weight of the order through our freight partner TIG. At checkout you pick a cheaper, slower carrier, a faster one, or Australia Post, and the freight cost is shown before you pay.
Can you make a calico bag in our own size?
Yes. Sizes and styles we do not stock are imported to order, which takes 12 to 16 weeks once the specification is approved. The usual minimum is around 3,000 bags, depending on the style. Send us your brief and we will quote it.
